CONTENT DESIGNER - COLORADO
Join The Select Group as a Content Designer and play a vital role in shaping clear, impactful in-product messaging that enhances both customer and internal experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to influence complex workflows, technical language, and user interactions across enterprise tools and customer-facing portals, all within a fast-paced, innovative environment. If you’re passionate about turning technical content into intuitive, human-centered UI, and thrive in a collaborative team leveraging cutting-edge AI tools, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Bring:

  • You think like a designer and write like a human. You understand how content shapes workflows, reduces friction and drives outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of UX product design best practices, design thinking and the distinction between content design and marketing copywriting.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams while working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable working in Figma and contributing directly to design files.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (writing assistants, prototyping aids and design tools) to accelerate your workflow, with the editorial judgment to know when human refinement is needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting designs, ideas and rationale to partners and leaders.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, measure outcomes and tell a compelling story.
  • Strong time management, prioritization and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must be local to Denver, Colorado, or willing to work in a hybrid environment (four days in-office, one day remote).
  • Portfolio required.
    • Must include examples of product UI content (screens, flows, error and empty states, design patterns).
    • Must demonstrate the ability to clearly explain the problem, users, constraints, content decisions and outcomes or key learnings.
    • Bonus if it includes internal tools, admin experiences or other complex B2B products.
  • Ability to dedicate time for a portfolio presentation during the interview process.

What You'll Do
  • You’ll be a fully engaged member of a collaborative, lean design team that consists of content design, design and accessibility.
  • We value collaboration, iterative processes and peer reviews.
  • We use design and collaboration tools such as Kiro, Figma, Jira, Trello and Lucid daily. If any of these are new to you, we’ll help you get up to speed.
  • Elevate the customer experience with thoughtful, concise UI content such as labels, microcopy, tooltips, error messages and empty states.
  • Deliver consistent content for B2B customer- and employee-facing tools that meets business and technical requirements across channels.
  • Apply universal design principles by using plain language, predictable patterns and clear information architecture to ensure accessibility and support assistive technologies.
  • Contribute to and help govern voice, tone, style and brand guidelines within our style guide and design system.
  • Partner with technical teams to update customer-facing email notifications so they align with voice and tone standards.
  • Use research, data and testing to inform and validate content and design decisions.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to draft, iterate and refine content, applying editorial judgment to ensure it meets brand and accessibility standards.
  • Participate in critiques, design reviews and brainstorming sessions, incorporating feedback to continuously improve the work.
  • Oversee the content strategy and voice for one or more product areas.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact through words and design, apply today and help us craft experiences that connect and empower users across industries!
