Job Details

We are hiring a remote Network Architect located in Montreal, Canada or Quebec, Canada area. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead customer-facing network readiness assessments across the client’s enterprise environments.
  • Conduct technical assessments to identify gaps, risks, and areas of misalignment against best practices.
  • Document findings and clearly explain the delta between current-state and desired-state architecture.
  • Develop remediation plans to address technical, operational, and architectural gaps.
  • Build architectural roadmaps aligned to customer priorities and technology direction.
  • Lead technical discussions with client stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Support transformation activities involving campus networking, data center, wireless, and security technologies.
  • Provide guidance across enterprise networking solutions, including SDA, Catalyst Center, ACI, and route/switch.
  • Partner with SMEs for deeper technical expertise when required.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Support workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture review meetings.
  • Support engagements in both French and English across Montreal and Quebec City sites.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience as a Network Architect, Senior Network Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Bilingual French and English communication skills.
  • Strong consulting experience, including customer workshops, technical assessments, and executive-level communication.
  • Deep expertise in at least one to two core Cisco technology areas, with broad knowledge across the wider Cisco portfolio.
  • Strong campus networking experience, including route/switch and enterprise LAN design.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI in data center environments.
  • Experience with Cisco SDA / Software-Defined Access.
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center / Catalyst Center.
  • Strong data center networking experience.
  • Ability to perform gap analysis and develop remediation plans.
  • Ability to create architecture roadmaps and technical recommendations.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable operating as a lead technical advisor while leveraging SMEs as needed.
  • Ability to travel occasionally between Montreal and Quebec City client sites as required.
