Senior UAT/ Business Analyst- Los Angeles, CA

The Select Group is looking for a Senior UAT / Business Test Lead in Southern California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of business process understanding, structured testing expertise, and leadership capability, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in UAT, QA, or Business Testing roles, with leadership responsibility
  • Proven experience owning end-to-end UAT execution for complex programs
  • Strong ability to translate business processes into structured test scenarios and cases
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies and defect management
  • Experience working in integrated, multi-vendor environments
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and drive alignment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business users and technical teams effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of driving accountability and follow-through
  • Ability to operate independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the full UAT lifecycle from preparation through execution and sign-off
  • Translate business requirements and real-world workflows into executable UAT test cases
  • Partner with Business, QA, and IT teams to refine test scenarios and ensure full coverage
  • Facilitate working sessions to finalize “to-be” business processes and close gaps
  • Plan and drive UAT readiness milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Lead daily UAT execution, status tracking, and defect management
  • Conduct daily stand-ups and wrap-up sessions, proactively removing blockers
  • Support manual UAT execution across mobile applications (iOS and Android) and related systems
  • Ensure proper documentation of test results, defect logging, and resolution tracking
  • Collaborate with training teams to enhance user guides and documentation based on UAT findings
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams during UAT
