Company Overview:
The Select Group (TSG) is a privately held technology consulting firm headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our service areas—Cloud & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, Digital Transformation, Learning & Development, and Project Management & Agile—are designed to create long-term success by aligning with your business goals and advancing to meet future demands.

Core Competencies:
Project & Program Oversight

  • Strong contract interpretation skills, with experience translating Statements of Work (SOWs) into actionable execution plans, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Track record of proactively managing deliverable timelines, dependencies, and contractual obligations.
  • Experience conducting deliverable reviews, securing client approvals, and managing the scope/change amendment process.
  • Sound judgement in issue and risk resolution, knowing when to escalate versus resolve independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to customize standard processes and templates to fit specific client or engagement needs.

Financial & Resource Management
  • Experience monitoring utilization against forecast and reporting on overall financial health.
  • Ability to facilitate project team calls and stand-ups to monitor work and deliverable completion.
  • Experience establishing and tracking SOW Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Comfort partnering on performance management and productivity improvement with TSG's engagement consulting teams.

Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary engagement contact, independently managing the full relationship cycle from onboarding through renewal.
  • Own and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), presenting value delivered and aligning future priorities.
  • Build trust with client leadership and become the go-to contact for engagement-related matters.
  • Navigate difficult conversations independently, including scope concerns, performance issues, or delays.
  • Tailor communication style and approach based on stakeholder personalities and preferences.

Technology & Systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM and project management platforms.
  • Strong data management skills with commitment to data integrity.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from standard reports to inform decision-making.

Operational Excellence
  • Self-motivated professional capable of managing a complex portfolio of responsibilities without prompting or supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with unwavering commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Strong time management skills with proven ability to balance competing priorities across multiple accounts in a high-demand environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and upholding high-quality delivery standards.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with clear awareness of when additional resources or escalation are needed.
  • Experience maintaining data integrity across multiple systems and catching/correcting errors independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own project and program health across scope, schedule, budget, and risk for an assigned portfolio of engagements.
  • Serve as the centralized point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Conduct client engagement kickoffs and lead regular status update cadences.
  • Facilitate project team calls and/or stand-ups.
  • Monitor weekly work plans, overall utilization, and deliverable completion.
  • Own financial oversight and analysis (utilization against forecast, budget reporting).
  • Drive client engagement outcomes to align with the SOW.
  • Capture project status details and prepare client reporting.
  • Establish and track SOW Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and operational KPIs.
  • Support performance management and productivity improvement with TSG's engagement consulting teams.
  • Identify key risks and issues and drive corresponding mitigation plans requiring client or leadership attention.

Key Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Project/Program Management, Engagement Management, or Customer Success, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements.
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, and resource management; formal project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus but not required.
  • Comfort owning financial tracking for client engagements, including utilization against forecast, budget reporting, and margin health.
