MES Project Manager (REMOTE-USA)
The Select Group is undertaking a large-scale Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation and is seeking an experienced MES Project Manager to join the team. This role will take ownership of driving the implementation forward. The ideal candidate will bring strong program management discipline, hands-on experience in regulated manufacturing environments, and the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders around a shared implementation roadmap.

Additional Note: This position is remote with travel as needed to Lodi, CA.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • PMP certification
  • Proven experience managing MES implementation projects
  • Background in medical device and/or manufacturing industries
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable driving work independently in a fast-paced, high-visibility project
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and production workflows

Required Education / Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field
  • PMP certification required
  • Additional certifications in Lean/Six Sigma a plus

Bonus Experience: 

  • Experience with specific MES platforms. Camstar is priority, but experience with POMSnet, Werum PAS-X, or similar is acceptable
  • Familiarity with validation processes in regulated manufacturing (GMP/FDA)
  • Prior experience with system implementation transitions or PM handoffs
  • Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing exposure

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day execution of the MES implementation project
  • Coordinate across IT, quality, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholder groups
  • Track project timelines, milestones, risks, and budget
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to leadership
  • Drive resolution of roadblocks and cross-team dependencies
  • Ensure project documentation and change controls align with regulatory requirements
  • Support knowledge transfer and continuity from the outgoing MES PM
