PRODUCT OWNER 

Our client is looking for a Product Owner to join their team and support their Digital Marketing and Mobile Sales initiatives. This is a rolling contract position, running through the end of the year, with the potential for extension or conversion in 2025. Ideal candidates will have experience in software development or a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), as well as experience as a Product Manager.

Must Have Skills:

  • 3-5 years of product owner experience working on software development projects
  • Certified Product Owner or Scrum Master certification
  • Stakeholder management and engagement experience
  • Agile development; familiarity with Scrum environment
  • Experience gathering/writing requirements
  • Strong familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Nice to Have:
  • Data Analysis experience - would be a HUGE plus! Need to be comfortable looking at data and analyzing it.
  • Experience creating and writing user stories
  • Telecom/Cable industry experience

Day to day responsibilities:
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Understands digital best practices in accessibility, usability, requirement writing, agile development, software product management, web analytics and product lifecycle management.
  • Brings proven knowledge of industry best practices in product development and translates appropriate steps for unique organization and market position.
  • Diagnoses complex issues and evaluates, recommends, and executes the best resolution.
  • Shapes the direction of Charter's product set and advocates for excellence in all areas.
  • Evaluates proposed features and enhancements from the perspective of the digital user experience and makes decisions in the best interest of the consumer.
  • Responsible for the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results.
  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders in product, marketing and customer operations to implement strategy.
  • Provides a data-centric perspective, using data as the driver and influencer of priority and measurements of success
