Software Developer

Specific Work Location: Primarily Remote – only required to come into office when asked for customer demos at the HSV Arsenal.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Years of Experience: 3 – 10 years of experience
  • Certification Requirement: No
  •  Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (if no degree 6 years of additional experience) (if associates degree 4 years of additional experience)
  • Clearance Level: Active DoD Secret (at minimum)


Required Technology Skills:
  • 3-10 years of software design and development
  • Experience with agile software development methodology like Scrum
  • Experience with programming in C#/.NET using Visual Studio or VS Code
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience working with agile tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or GitLab
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, artifacts, and package feeds
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience writing cross platform applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Multi-platform App UI (MAUI)
  • Experience with Blazor
  • Experience with Android app development using Java or Kotlin in Android Studio
  • Experience with developing Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) plugins
  • Knowledge of software development process, technical data package documentation
  • Experience with aviation
        
Daily Responsibilities:

 
  • Candidate will be working within agile methodology developing software in a web environment
  • Candidate will be developing applications to support Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT)
  • Candidate will be supporting application design, development, testing, and documentation
  • Candidates day to day will consist of:
  • Daily Teams meetings
  • Agile Sprint Planning, Review, and Retro meetings
  • System/Subsystem design
  • Performance Studies and Analyses
  • Customer Requirements analysis and interpretation
  • Verification & Validation of System Specifications & Design Documentation
  • Software Design Reviews
  • Technical Interchange meetings
  • Configuration Control Boards
