OVERVIEW:

A fortune 50 top Silicon Valley customer is looking for a UX Designer to join their team and help with an exciting product centered around assisting sales people articulate what device and specification best fits the customers needs.

You will be joining the Channel Store Operations group that is creating a sales application to run on an iPad to assist the sales team in articulating product differences and specifications to potential customers on the sales floor.

The right UX Designer for this role will also take time to travel to stores to interview sales people as well as customers to gather requirements and research the best features and approaches for the product.

BREAKDOWN:

  • 10-20% UX Research
  • 80-90% Design
SENIOR LEVEL
TOP SKILLS:
  • 3 years of UX Design Experience
    • Should have a broad range of UX skills, including interaction design, visual design, branding, UX research
    • They will need to understand the user flow for each module
    • Strong understandings of user personas
    • A strong understanding of the user journey
    • Experience building low to high fidelity wireframes
  • Well versed with Sketch as a design tool - they are ok with Figma experience but they will need to be aware they will be operating in sketch for this role.
  • Experience designing for a product that is customer focused is key.
    • Experience creating presentations with Keynote, and the ability to present design concepts and ideas to executive leadership.
  • Experience leading a junior designer, or design team.
  • Experience designing Web and Responsive Web
  • Extremely detail oriented (down to the pixel)
PLUS SKILLS:
  • Experience building applications geared toward sales people.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design/HCI/Media Arts/Graphic Design/Psychology, or a related field

PORTFOLLIO (required for all submittals):
The portfolio should display end to end design. Must also be REAL WORLD examples. We can't point to college or passion projects as experience for this need. Must also have some iPad OS of iOS designs. Want to stay away from designs that are web focused.
