RF Integration Engineer <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

We are seeking an experienced RF Integration Engineer to support a leading enterprise technology organization in the development, integration, and validation of next-generation wireless hardware products. This individual will work closely with RF, antenna, hardware, software, and product engineering teams to bring up and validate complex radio and antenna subsystems.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong RF laboratory experience, wireless hardware knowledge, and the ability to automate testing and analyze RF performance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Support the bring-up, integration, simulation, characterization, and validation of RF and antenna designs.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Test wireless and RF subsystem performance against established design and quality metrics.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Perform hands-on testing using RF and microwave laboratory equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, vector signal analyzers\/generators, traffic generators, and wireless sniffers.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python, C++, MATLAB, and\/or LabVIEW to improve test efficiency and repeatability.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot RF performance issues, and partner with engineering teams to identify root causes and potential solutions.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Generate detailed test reports and clearly communicate findings to technical and cross-functional stakeholders.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Collaborate with Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Radio Compliance teams throughout the product development lifecycle.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Support hardware characterization and validation of antennas, radio front ends, amplifiers, RF switches, filters, couplers, and related components.<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Assist with test planning, product qualification, and certification activities as needed.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/ul>\n

    Required Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 3+ years of professional experience in hardware product development, RF integration, validation, or testing. Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.<\/span><\/span>\n
    • Hands-on experience working with RF and microwave laboratory equipment such as:<\/span><\/span>\n
        \n
      • Network Analyzers \/ VNAs<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Spectrum Analyzers<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Power Meters<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Vector Signal Analyzers and Generators<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Traffic Generators<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Wireless Sniffers<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/ul>\n
      • Experience with RF or wireless subsystem bring-up, characterization, integration, troubleshooting, and validation.<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Working knowledge of wireless architectures and RF components, including radio front ends, antennas, amplifiers, switches, filters, and couplers within approximately 450 MHz\u20137125 MHz.<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Experience developing or maintaining test automation using Python, C++, MATLAB, and\/or LabVIEW.<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Understanding of wireless networking concepts including path loss, channel models, and traffic generation.<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Knowledge of digital and analog electronics and the hardware product development lifecycle.<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.<\/span><\/span>\n
      • Ability to work onsite in San Jose, CA.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/ul>\n

        Preferred Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n
          \n
        • Experience with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi\/WLAN, Bluetooth\/BLE, LTE, 5G FR1, and\/or WPAN.<\/span><\/span>\n
        • Experience with RF simulation tools such as ADS, CST, or HFSS.<\/span><\/span>\n
        • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB\/layout tools such as Cadence.<\/span><\/span>\n
        • Experience developing test plans and supporting product certification or regulatory testing.<\/span><\/span>\n
        • Experience partnering with Radio Compliance and hardware design teams.<\/span><\/span>\n
        • Ability to perform component-level rework, including small SMT components such as 0402 packages, and familiarity with soldering\/rework stations.<\/span><\/span>\n
        • Experience reviewing or manipulating ECAD\/PCB layout files and MCAD\/.STEP files.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/ul>\n

          Ideal Background<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

          The ideal candidate is a hands-on RF engineer who is comfortable working directly with wireless hardware in a lab environment. Candidates should be able to independently characterize RF performance, troubleshoot hardware and integration issues, automate portions of the testing process, and communicate technical findings to engineering teams.<\/p>\n
