Senior Ping Identity Engineer – Remote <\/p>\n
We are seeking a Senior Ping Identity Engineer to join a critical Identity & Access Management initiative focused on completing an enterprise Ping Identity implementation and supporting a large-scale IAM migration effort.<\/p>\n
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Ping Identity consultant who enjoys stepping into complex environments, assessing existing implementations, identifying gaps, and driving technical execution through completion. The engagement will involve partnering with technical and business stakeholders to stabilize, enhance, and expand an enterprise Ping Identity ecosystem while supporting ongoing migration and modernization efforts.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assess existing Ping Identity environments and identify remaining implementation activities
\n\u2022 Complete configuration and deployment efforts across development and production environments
\n\u2022 Support enterprise IAM migration initiatives and application onboarding efforts
\n\u2022 Configure and support PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne, PingDirectory, and related technologies
\n\u2022 Troubleshoot authentication, federation, token, certificate, and access-related issues
\n\u2022 Configure and support SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) integrations
\n\u2022 Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to develop migration strategies and implementation plans
\n\u2022 Document configurations, implementation decisions, operational procedures, and best practices
\n\u2022 Provide technical guidance around Ping Identity architecture, administration, and future platform growth<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\u2022 5+ years of hands-on Ping Identity experience
\n\u2022 Strong experience with PingFederate
\n\u2022 Experience with PingAccess
\n\u2022 Experience with PingOne and\/or PingDirectory
\n\u2022 Experience implementing and supporting enterprise SSO and federation solutions
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
\n\u2022 Experience configuring IdP\/SP connections, authentication policies, and attribute mappings
\n\u2022 Experience standing up and supporting enterprise Ping Identity environments
\n\u2022 Experience troubleshooting authentication, federation, token, and certificate-related issues
\n\u2022 Experience integrating Ping solutions with Active Directory, Entra ID, and LDAP
\n\u2022 Experience supporting IAM migrations and transformation initiatives
\n\u2022 Ability to quickly assess existing environments and work independently with minimal oversight
\n\u2022 Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Previous Okta-to-Ping migration experience
\n\u2022 PingID implementation experience
\n\u2022 Office 365 migration experience
\n\u2022 SiteMinder migration experience
\n\u2022 Terraform, Ansible, Python, or Bash scripting experience
\n\u2022 Experience supporting large enterprise environments
\n\u2022 Consulting or professional services background
\n\u2022 Experience estimating level of effort and supporting project-based delivery models<\/p>\n
This role is best suited for a senior consultant who combines deep Ping Identity expertise with strong problem-solving skills, client-facing communication abilities, and a track record of successfully delivering complex IAM implementations and migrations. <\/p>\n
